Meet the Tutor - Amanda (Mandy)

Bright Skies classes are designed to inspire and benefit people from all walks of life, both on and off the mat. These classes aren’t about bending into complex pretzel shapes or being super flexible and athletic. The primary focus is to enable attendees to discover a yoga practice that will suit their individual needs. In Bright Skies sessions you can do yoga standing, sitting or somewhere in between. Whatever suits you! The aim is to connect our mind and body with our breath through gentle explorative movement, increasing mobility and decreasing any tension or stress.

In these classes you will learn:

  • Breathing to support resilience and a strong immune system
  • Mobilisation to keep your body supple and active
  • Relaxation techniques to reduce stress and promote good sleep
Fancy something a bit more energetic? Bright Skies also has classes that are a bit more challenging and dynamic. Why not try one of the ‘Kick Start’ sessions or ‘Glow with the Flow’.

Gentle Yoga Classes

Relaxing yoga sessions to release tension and lift your spirits. Classes can be done from a chair or with a range of other props.

Kick Start /Dynamic Yoga Classes

These classes can be more energetic, building strength and mobility, but the tutor teaches in levels so that everyone is able to join in.

Glow with a Yoga Flow Classes

During this class we will gently move from one posture to another carried by the music, creating an almost meditative state of movement and breath together.
